"We are very pleased to make this announcement today," SeaWolves Team President/General Manager John Frey said, "The Tigers have been a big part of the success of the SeaWolves for the past seven seasons and we look forward to continuing that relationship. A big part of the thanks also goes to Casey Wells and the entire ECCCA for their continued improvements to the ballpark and commitment to the club."The Erie SeaWolves have continued to be a mainstay in the Erie community as well as the surrounding cities. In my opinion, the city continues to support the team with their hard earned dollar and have had the privilege to see many major league players come through the development system.
